A staggering number of Smash clones have been made by both fans and competitors, though dismissing them as mere clones does many a disservice. The high-flying, mobility-oriented combat is like nothing else the fighting genre has seen, perhaps exhibiting more explosive moments per match than any other sub-genre. is built on a somewhat Kirby-esque approach to platforming, combined with a system of normal moves, special moves, grabs, and smash attacks. Smash your way to victory while letting out some steam in this awesome impression of Super Smash Bros. Although I would absolutely love to see Black Mage converted for Brawl, I don't think it's possible to make a complete 1:1 remake of SSF2 for Brawl, at least not with the abilities we have right now.
